Lovely cooked white fish . Haven’t seen this in a long time. Pleasure to eat. Chips nice and hot! Very pleasant counter staff

Generous portions and nice food. Really annoying the kebab is not made in the pitta. The contents all sit on top of empty pitta which then makes the pitta soggy.

Yummy food! Got veg spring roll and cod and was freshly cooked young lady that served me was kind and asked about my day which you don’t get often from the younger generation anymore. Food stayed warm on the drive home.

Fish and chips was beautiful I’m really fussy and this was the tastiest! Definitely my favourite place to go to now. My partner’s pregnancy cravings kicked in and finding a place open late enough is hard let alone with good quality food, highly recommend

So dinnertime Wednesday really fancied a battered Sausage trie local to e shop not open. Haven’t been to Saxongate for a couple of years as needed family member needs Gluten Free so limited to one shop. However they were at work. Went on line saw Saxongate so decided to check out latest menu. Ended up order battered sausage me, hubby chick mushrooms pie, son Cod bites and one chips for all. Sooo impressed battered was gorgeous on Sausage thick crunchy and well cooked, cod bites were amazing, battered well, amazing fresh cod fillet cooked perfectly all piping hot, husband pie, was a pie no real stunner but 10/10 for the Codbites absolutely brilliant will be ordering more for sure. Good size portion for money.

Really good quality food, never had a bad meal from here. Staff friendly, food cooked to order, whats not to like.
